The Division of Administrative Services is recruiting an Accountant 5 to serve as the Finance Officer for the department. This position is responsible for oversight and management of finance and accounting services for all the departments diverse programs.
This position supervises professional accounting staff and leads department-wide accounting operations financial planning and fiscal policy development. The Finance Officer also oversees and coordinates the departments cost allocation plan monthly financial projections and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with State of Alaska and DCCED specific policies and procedures. Additionally this position serves as a collaborative leader with technical expertise and a strong accounting background.Join the Department of Commerce Community and Economic Development (DCCED) and help shape Alaskas economy and enhance the daily lives of Alaskans.
