Job Description
Were hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Leominster MA! This is your opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery take ownership of mechanical design projects and contribute to engineering innovation in a collaborative and hands-on environment.
As a Mechanical Engineer youll design develop and improve large mechanical systems using 3D CAD tools. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance manufacturability and project success.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize complex mechanical systems and machine components using SolidWorks AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor
- Create and interpret technical drawings blueprints and specifications for manufacturing
- Apply strong knowledge of GD&T geometry and mechanical tolerances
- Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documents including BOMs assembly instructions and technical reports
- Collaborate with engineering production and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems using hands-on and analytical methods
- Support manufacturing processes CNC programming (a plus) and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Strong background in mechanical systems machinery design or fabrication processes
- Proficiency in 3D modeling tools (SolidWorks Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD)
- Experience reading and applying GD&T and technical blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving teamwork and communication skills
- Bonus: Experience with CNC machining or programming
