Job Description
This posting is a general posting that will serve for many part-time non-benefited openings in Fisher Early Learning Center. Should we be interested in pursuing your application we will contact you with the specific information.
Position Summary
These positions support programs designed to support non-collegiate educational programs for the Fisher Early Learning Center. Positions can include:
- Teaching assistants
- Substitute teachers
- Early Childhood teachers (ages infant through PreK)
These are non-benefited part-time positions not to exceed 1000 hours in a calendar year.
Essential Functions
- Develop curriculum.
- Teach curriculum.
- Support teaching endeavors related to area of specificity.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication skills to include verbal and written communication.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain all required certifications and licensures as they pertain to the role.
- Skills associated with early childhood learning K-12 certified professionals and some post-secondary education
Required Qualifications
- Professional training or education related to area of teaching specificity.
- PDIS Credential level 2 or higher
- 1-2 years experience working with children ages 0-6 years old

Work Schedule
Part-time hours will vary depending on position.

Hourly Range
The hourly range for this position is $18.81 - $22.00.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate departmental budget availability internal salary equity considerations and available market information but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
