Continuing possession of a license and registration as a Radiologic Technologist limited to the practice of Diagnostic Radiography issued by the New York State Department of Health.

The only subject of examination will be an evaluation of your training and experience. You will receive a grade on this exam based upon your supervisory and administrative work experiences as a licensed Radiologic Technician - and how you document the required information.
Be specific; vagueness and ambiguity will not be resolved in your favor. Additional information will not be accepted after submission of your application.
It is critical that you follow the directions exactly as shown below.
In order to receive full credit for your work experience as a Radiologic Technician you must include a copy of your ORIGINAL LICENSE from the State of New York. If you only include a copy of yourcurrent registration then you will not be given credit for any work experience as a Radiologic Technician that pre-dates your current registration.
The following types of licensed work experience will be credited:
(1) supervisory
(2) administrative.
Therefore you must clearly identify your duties.
For any position in which you supervised one or more licensed Radiologic Technicians you must indicate (a) the supervisory duties you performed such as the planning and assigning of work performance evaluations etc. (b) the number of Radiologic Technicians you supervised and (c) the percentage of your typical work week that was devoted to supervision.
For any position in which you performed administrative duties you must list those duties (such as being principally responsible for program planning making policy decisions directing and budgeting) and indicate the percentage of your typical work week that was devoted to each.
You must also supply all of the information requested on the application for each position you list. If you do not you may not receive credit for that work experience.
Pay particular attention to the following items:
The dates of your employment must be in mm/yy format
Do not writevariedor give a range of hours for Hours Worked per Week. Instead estimate the number of hours worked in a typical week.
Under Title and Duties clearly differentiate between non-supervisory supervisory and administrative work experience.
Do not attach your Resume as Resumes will not be evaluated.
