My client is looking for Lead Power Electronics Design Engineer with power electronics experience to join their custom power supply design team based in Worthing UK.
Key Responsibilities as a Lead Power Electronics Design Engineer:
Work in an R&D team of electrical experts designing products from concept stage
Provide technical expertise in new product design and modification of existing products.
Responsible for component part selection taking into consideration obsolescence availability and cost
Foster creativity and innovation in design solutions
Self-motivated team member delivering projects from concept to manufacturing working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.
Qualification needed for the Lead Power Electronics Design Engineer:
Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering/Power Electronics or equivalent experience.
5 years experience in AC-DC / DC-DC switch-mode power supply design from conception to production
Experience of wide range of topologies.
Deep knowledge of EMC thermals magnetic design analogue and some digital design
