Queensland Rail is seeking a motivated and experienced Structures Team Leader to join our Regional Assets Team based at either our Ayr or Townsville depot.

- Permanent full time role with an industry leader
- Potential annual salary of$135000 (including penalties & allowances) 12.75% super
- Predominantly a 9-day fortnight - Mon to Tues (5 day wkd )

About the role:
As a Team Leader youll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective maintenance of our structures bridges and culverts. Youll lead a small team of Bridgeworkers and help plan resource and deliver works to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day maintenance operations on bridges and structures
- Ensure all work is carried out safely efficiently and to expected standards
- Support planning problem-solving and job preparation activities
- Oversee preventative maintenance and minor servicing of equipment
- Allocate and support mechanical maintenance tasks
- Perform administrative and record-keeping duties

About You:
- Strong knowledge of bridge and structural maintenance standards processes and costs
- Proven leadership team coordination and communication skills
- Sound understanding of relevant systems including SAP MS Office and IQMS
- A commitment to Queensland Rails Values and Behaviours
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry is highly regarded
