Job Description
Chubb Primary Construction is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Dallas office (Southwest Region) as a Senior Underwriter. We specialize in delivering customized and complex Primary Construction programs tailored specifically to meet the unique business needs and operations within the construction industry.
As a Senior Underwriter you will take the lead in underwriting individual risks as well as:
- Soliciting new and renewal submissions from brokers
- Determining terms conditions and intricate rating plans
- Binding coverage
- Documenting underwriting files meticulously
- Managing more complex files and portfolios within your underwriting authority
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff

Qualifications
- 4 -7 years underwriting experience
- Experience underwriting multiple lines of insurance
- Bachelors degree
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of insurance industry
- Knowledge of construction industry
- Knowledge of underwriting concepts practices and procedures
- Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- Internet usage
- Oral and written communication skills
