Job Description
A local metal recycling company is looking to add a Baler Operator to their team. This is a full-time position on day shift paying $19/hr.
Responsibilities include:
Move product or materials in and out of the warehouse-using forklift.
Operate the two-ram baler in a manner that produces bales acceptable for market
Create uncontaminated bales of material
Maintain a clean work environment
Daily inspection of equipment conditions to ensure safety cleanliness and organization.
Willing to perform other incidental duties as required and assigned by management.
Skills and attributes:
Ability to operate a forklift.
Strong ability to perform multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain composure in a stressful work environment.
Knowledge of safe equipment operation including but not limited to front end loader forklift shear wire stripper two-ram baler and tote tipper.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Working in an outdoor/warehouse environment; some repetitive mechanical work.
Frequent lifting frequent computer dexterity; pushing pulling walking climbing stairs standing kneeling twisting vision hearing talking.
Must be able to lift up to 49lbs unassisted.
Pay:$19/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
