Title: Associate Consultant Utilities SectorLocation: Phoenix AZ Type: Long-term contract
Join a collaborative team helping utility clients solve complex business and technical challenges. This role supports senior consultants across projects involving operational analysis strategic planning and implementation support. Youll assist with evaluating utility operations creating data-driven recommendations and helping teams manage change throughout project lifecycles.
Your role:
- Collaborate with senior consultants and clients to define challenges and support solution development
- Analyze operational data industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the utility sector
- Contribute to project deliverables such as reports presentations and dashboards
- Assist in developing business cases and cost-benefit analyses for utility programs or technologies
- Help coordinate stakeholder engagement and change management efforts
- Communicate technical and business insights clearly to various audiences
- Support internal development efforts by contributing to knowledge sharing and best practices
What youve got:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (e.g. Electrical Mechanical Industrial) or related technical field
- 13 years of experience in utilities energy infrastructure or consulting
- Exposure to business concepts through an MBA or relevant coursework is a plus
- Strong analytical communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with tools like Python Tableau or Power BI is preferred
- Ability to work in a team-oriented client-facing environment
- Bonus if you bring experience in consulting project management or methodologies like Lean Six Sigma or Agile
