Job Description
Culinary Assistant
Part Time
As we prepare for our upcoming location in Mason Ohio we are seeking enthusiastic kitchen-savvy candidates to join our Culinary Center team. The Dorothy Lane Market Culinary Center at Mason will offer a wide range of classes and private events and we are looking for part-time Culinary Assistants to help deliver outstanding experiences. If you love people and good food join us in making The DLM Experience come alive in Mason.
What Youll Do
- Shop prep and organize for classes and events.
- Assist instructors during classes.
- Provide outstanding hospitality and customer service.
- Assist with all clean up after events and classes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better Food and Service.
- A willingness to learn about and taste great food.
- A willingness to practice the DLM Team Values: Be Honest Safe Helpful and Hard-Working
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic cooking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Must be 18 or older.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Lifting up to 40lbs.
- Must have holiday and weekend availability.
