Title: Handyperson
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time 35 hours
Salary: 28191 (London weighted salary) dependant on experience
Reporting Office: London Stratford
Working Location: South East And Kent
Persona: Mobile - (Full Manual UK Drivers License Essential)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Join our Estate Services Team at L&Q:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Caretaking Operational Support Service which is a key function of our continuing commitment to providing a responsive customer-based service for our residents.

Your impact in the role:
- You will be working as part of a team assisting in the delivery of our estate services to provide a high standard of minor repairs in communal areas within our blocks and on our estates.
- You will also be carrying out pre-planned projects involving painting grounds work and general improvement of schemes
- You will be liaising directly with L&Q staff residents and contractors and you must have due regard to health & safety and security issues
- You will be responsible for the vehicle tools and equipment provided to you
What youll bring:
- Capable of identifying H&S risks and carrying out a variety of communal repair jobs
- Trade skills or DIY or Gardening experience is essential.
- A good communicator and willing to learn new skills as the service adapts to the changing needs within the Trust.
- Confident working remotely as part of a team therefore you must have good interpersonal skills and be able to arrange work schedules and plan the implementation of work.
- Be self-motivated proactive and able to organise your time effectively and be aware of safe working practices.
- Confident in using basic IT packages
- Be committed to providing excellent customer service
