About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citcos core business and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industrys most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
As a core member of our Fund Accounting team you will be working with some of the industrys most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
- You will prepare daily/weekly/monthly valuation reporting for a portfolio of funds including the determination of Net Asset Value and preparation of supporting financial statements.
- Independently complete and review cash portfolio and capital reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies and validate exceptions
- Analyzeportfolio pricing to ensure consistency and reasonability of performance reporting
- Independently complete income and expense allocations including calculating asset based and performance fees
- Apply technicalproficiency to support Fund Accountants in their tasks by troubleshooting issues in the valuation process and problem-solving as needed
- Operateas a contact point for clients; be able to respond to and resolve queries or escalate where necessary
- Assistthe team supervisor with coordinating deliverables and completing a first level review of reporting deliverables
- Monitor compliance with various client service agreements
- Assist with new client on-boardingand new fund launches inclusive of review of fund documents to verify and validate operating terms fees and compliance requirements
- Participate in the fiscal year end audit process and provide information to auditors as required
- Assist with ad hoc projects
Qualifications
About You:
- You have aUniversity degree in accounting finance economics or professional accounting designation (CFA CGA CMA CA CPA).
- Experience working in the financial industry or public accounting for at least 2 years and an understanding of investment strategies and financials products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and client service experience
- Proven ability to work in a challenging professional and fast-paced work environment
