About the Opportunity
Job Summary:
Working under the direction of the Head Coach - Womens Basketball the Assistant Coach is an integral part of the Womens Basketball team providing duties related to coaching staff teaching and recruiting student-athletes.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the program through practice and game-day decisions
- Scouting opponents
- Developing training drillsfor player skill developmentand leading positional portions of practice
- Identifying evaluating and cultivating prospective student-athletes from throughout the country
- Attending departmental meetings programs and clinics
- Assisting with fund-raising
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned by the head coach
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 2-3 years coaching and recruitingcoordinatingexperience required preferably at a Division I program
- Collegiate playing experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of recruiting practices and understanding of Conference and NCAA regulations
- Previous experience with budgeting procedures and strong communication and management skills required
- Must be available to travel and work evenings and weekends as required

$59425.00 - $83935.00With the pay range(s) shown above the starting salary will depend on several factors which may include your education experience location knowledge and expertise and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
