Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Commercial Lender

DEPARTMENT ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The commercial lending team plays a critical role in generating revenue for the bank by providing loans for our business customers. They strive to create remarkable experiences that mark the lives of their customers and their communities.
Commercial lenders identify and assist business customers that need the financial support of a bank. They prospect new customers engage in the communities they service prepare and close loans manage their loan portfolios and present loan packages to loan committee.
RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
- Manage client relationships with excellence
- Engage in business development and community involvement activities
- Prepare loan documentation
- Manage loan portfolio and ensure credit quality of the portfolio
- Prepare presentations for loan committee meetings
- Adhere to all compliance standards and regulations
- Assist in collections efforts as needed
- Set pricing and terms for loan products sold
- Evaluate loan requests and customer financial condition
- Cross sell products to perspective and existing clients to drive profitability and income growth
- Provide operational and managerial support to the lending team
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- 5 years consumer and commercial lending
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Ability to make decisions independently
- Ability to analyze and evaluate risk
- Ability to source and maintain loan portfolio
COMPUTER / SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with Microsoft Suites products
