Occupational Therapist (OT)

Shifts Available: Full Time Part Time & PRN

Service Areas: Northeast Houston Lake Jackson Conroe Northwest Houston Southwest Houston Missouri City Angleton

  • Holidays Observed (6) : Full timefield cliniciansare eligible to receive an option of holiday units plus units worked or a floating holiday within the same pay period of the observed holiday.PRNfield clinicians will receive an additional $10 per visit for visits completed on an observed holiday.
  • You are eligible to enroll in benefits on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment
  • Phone usage reimbursement is 75.00 per month (clinicians)
  • PTO accrual begins on the first day of employment; and may be used after completing 90 days of employment
  • Full Time and Part Time clinicians will be compensated for mileage atthe IRS equivalent annual rate for the time of mileage occurrence

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate rehabilitation of patients with emotional physical or mental disabilities.
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy care plans.
  • Coordinate care with home healthcare team.
  • Evaluate therapy needs and monitor and report patient progress and outcomes.
  • Educate patients and family members.
  • Prepare timely complete and accurate clinical notes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients caregivers healthcare providers office support and other care team members.

Qualifications:

  • Occupational therapist in the state of Texas.
  • Home health experience highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of home health regulations and general healthcare compliance.
  • Able to handle physical workload.
  • Good driving record.
  • Experience with HCHB EMR (preferred but not required).
  • Effective communication and people skills.
