Job Description
- Directly oversee and lead the Manufacturing Engineering Facilities Maintenance departments.
- Be directly responsible for ensuring the safety of all employees within your areas of responsibility and driving a strong safety culture across the plant especially concerning equipment operation facility upkeep and maintenance activities.
- Be directly responsible for improving efficiency and reducing downtime through strategic maintenance programs facility upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing engineering.
- Lead the development and implementation of capital expenditure projects related to facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment.
- Manage budgets for manufacturing engineering facilities maintenance and optimizing spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- You quickly and significantly act in fact-changing unexpected situations. You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse collaborators. You build and implement plans that prioritize accurately. You understand that different situations may call for different approaches. You find common ground and acceptable alternatives that satisfy the needs of multiple partners. You serve as a strategic partner to build grow and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
- 10 years of overall experience in manufacturing engineering facilities management or industrial maintenance with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role managing teams.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Industrial or Manufacturing) or a related technical field is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective preventative maintenance programs and facility management strategies.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in leading capital projects including scope definition budgeting and execution.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and lead time wisely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) preferred.
- Ability to communicate sophisticated technical information in a clear concise understandable manner and listen attentively to others providing clear instructions to employees and collaborators.
