Job Title:Production Technician

JOB SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION:
Operate and maintain systems associated with a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facility while demonstrating safety awareness and direction that will continuously improve performance by employees and contractors through the use and strict adherence to procedures and processes.

WORK CONDITIONS:
Employees are required to work 12 hour shifts with both day and night rotations. Working environment frequently requires exposure to extreme ambient conditions ranging from hot humid environments to freezing temperatures in winter months. Employees are required to climb stairs ladders and walk or stand for extended periods. Overtime and callouts during holidays nights and off days should be expected on a routine basis. Use of personal computer applications is necessary daily to log equipment data log time worked and to communicate with various levels of our organization. Skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are very beneficial. As a provider of essential services Entergy expects its employees to be available to work additional hours to work in alternate locations and/or to perform additional duties in connection with storms outages emergencies or other situations as deemed necessary by the company. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties.
