Your tasks
- You are responsible for the reliable validation of functions in the ADAS domain
- In collaboration with the department and the development team you develop a test concept and plan the testing at various test levels
- Functional requirements for new or existing test environments including hardware and software are defined by you
- You develop new or extend existing test specifications and test cases conducttests at test benches (components/subsystem/overall system) or vehicles and finally document the test results in test reports
- You use modern simulation tools (MIL SIL HIL VIL) for virtual and real tests continuously develop them further and automate test processes to increase efficiency and test coverage
- Additionally you accompany the subsequent error process and contribute to the optimization of test processes methods and working methods in your department
- As part of test management you take the lead in coordinating external contractors and if applicable international partners
- You work in an international team with colleagues from various TRATON Group locations and with external partners
Your qualifications
You have a technical degree in electrical engineering automotive engineering computer science or a comparable qualification
You have already gained experience in software testing in particular with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) or the development of control units/systems
You have extensiveknowledge of common test methods techniques and tools used in the automotive industry including hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) software-in-the-loop (SiL) and test automation
Knowledge of functional safety (ISO26262) and practical experience in measuring and analyzing CAN bus and Ethernet systems are desirable
Development processes such as ASPICE the V-model and agile approaches (e.g. SAFe) are familiar to you
You are fluent in German and English
An ISTQB Certified Tester and a class C/CE drivers license are an advantage
