Job Description: Sonographer (Nights)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary:
- Minimum Salary: 79000
- Maximum Salary: 125000
- Salary Type: Annual
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Obtain and evaluate ultrasound images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely documentation of examinations.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Use ultrasound equipment effectively and ensure its maintenance and safety.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures in the workplace.
- Communicate effectively with patients to provide reassurance and information regarding procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of a certified CAAHEP school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Radiologic Technology or a two-year allied health equivalent.
- ARDMS registered with an ABD or OB/GYN credential.
- Minimum of two years of paid scanning experience.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in a level I trauma center is preferred.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR is a plus.
