Job Description

Job Description: Sonographer (Nights)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:

  • Minimum Salary: 79000
  • Maximum Salary: 125000
  • Salary Type: Annual

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Obtain and evaluate ultrasound images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timely documentation of examinations.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Use ultrasound equipment effectively and ensure its maintenance and safety.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures in the workplace.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to provide reassurance and information regarding procedures.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of a certified CAAHEP school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Radiologic Technology or a two-year allied health equivalent.
  • ARDMS registered with an ABD or OB/GYN credential.
  • Minimum of two years of paid scanning experience.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in a level I trauma center is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR is a plus.
