Job Description
Job Title: UFT Automation Test Engineer (SQL PL/SQL 8 yrs)
Location: AustinTX - Hybrid (Local to Austin only) (Within 50-mile radius).
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Required Qualifications:- Strong verbal and written communication skills capable of engaging with peers and users at various organizational levels.
- Proven expertise in developing test suites using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) or similar automation tools.
- Proficient in using database query languages including SQL and PL/SQL.
- Skilled in creating and managing Requirements Traceability Matrices.
- Experience in developing and executing detailed Test Scripts.
- Proficient in preparing comprehensive Test Plans and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Familiarity with general IT Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Experience using JIRA to manage project or sprint tasks.
- Background in working within an Agile SDLC environment.
- Proficient in tracking work assignments using Jira.
- Experience working on projects that use agile project management methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure clear communication throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Design develop and execute automated and manual test cases to validate application functionality.
- Analyze test results identify defects and ensure their resolution through coordinated efforts with developers and other team members.
- Create and maintain test documentation including traceability matrices and test plans.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Support and coordinate user acceptance testing activities with end users and stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and test automation strategies.
