Our client is a nationally recognized consulting and construction management firm specializing in the delivery of complex commercial industrial and mission-critical building projects. Their projects range from advanced manufacturing plants and cold storage facilities to tilt-wall distribution centers hospitals and data centers. The firm works closely with developers owners and general contractors to ensure precise planning and execution of high-performance builds.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to support pre-construction and active field projects across the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The ideal candidate has prior experience developing and managing detailed schedules for large-scale commercial and industrial projects. The Scheduler will be responsible for creating updating and analyzing project schedules using industry-standard tools ensuring alignment with field execution and project milestones.

This role plays a critical part in identifying schedule risks assisting in recovery planning and supporting project teams with accurate forecasting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop update and maintain detailed project schedules throughout the project lifecycle

  • Work closely with project managers superintendents engineers and subcontractors to gather input and validate schedule logic

  • Analyze critical path activities and report progress against baseline schedules

  • Generate regular look-ahead schedules and assist in field coordination

  • Support schedule risk assessments and assist with mitigation strategies when delays occur

  • Provide schedule impact analyses related to change orders delays or scope revisions

  • Monitor manpower loading and resource allocation across multiple trades

  • Prepare schedule reports and dashboards for internal teams and client presentations

  • Ensure scheduling practices align with contractual requirements and industry standards

  • Collaborate with project control and cost management teams to ensure schedule-cost alignment

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction scheduling on commercial/industrial projects

  • Software Proficiency:

    • Primavera P6 (required)

    • Microsoft Project (preferred)

    • Procore Bluebeam or related project management tools (a plus)

  • Project Background: Experience supporting schedules on one or more of the following:

    • Tilt-wall distribution centers

    • Manufacturing or industrial plants

    • Hospitals or healthcare facilities

    • Data centers

    • Cold storage or refrigerated warehousing

  • Strong understanding of construction means methods sequences and field coordination

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings specifications and contract documents

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills; able to work across disciplines and teams

  • Experience with recovery scheduling delay analysis and claims support is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Primarily office-based with regular site visits required depending on project phase

  • Must be able to visit and inspect job sites including walking and standing for extended periods

  • Some travel within the Atlanta region to project sites may be necessary

  • Valid drivers license required
