Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic HR Manager with 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in the Appliances Electrical and Electronics Manufacturing industry preferably in a fast-paced high-volume production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the HR function from the ground up establishing best-in-class people practices and leading a team that supports business growth and operational excellence. A deep understanding of local labor markets compliance and workforce dynamics is critical to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Set Up & Scale HR Function:
- Build a robust HR team and systems to support a rapidly growing manufacturing operation. Define HR strategy structure and policies tailored for a high-speed production environment.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management:
Lead recruitment for both blue-collar and white-collar roles. Ensure quick turnaround hiring to meet production demands while maintaining quality. - Performance & Culture Leadership:
Implement and manage performance evaluation systems. Foster a high-performance agile and accountable culture across all functions. - Compliance & Labor Law Management:
Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory and legal requirements. Develop and enforce HR policies aligned with factory laws EHS and wage regulations. - Employee Engagement & Retention:
Drive high-impact employee engagement and retention programs. Ensure strong internal communication and conflict resolution mechanisms. - Training & Capability Building:
Design and lead training initiatives to upskill staff in a fast-changing environment. Focus on leadership development and succession planning. - HR Operations & Technology:
Streamline HR processes using HRIS and automation. Manage attendance payroll inputs and workforce analytics effectively. - Union/Labor Relations (if applicable):
Maintain productive relationships with labor representatives. Handle negotiations and disputes efficiently to maintain industrial harmony.
Key Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in HR Business Administration or related field.
- 10 15 years of HR experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting ideally in appliances electrical or electronics.
- Proven experience in building and scaling HR teams and systems.
- Excellent leadership and execution skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and market practices.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS tools Excel and other HR analytics platforms.
