As the North America CP R&D Portfolio Manager you will design implement and drive the effective operation of portfolio management processes for delivery of the regional R&D product development portfolio. This role will drive KPI analysis and build insights that enable the regional leadership team to review and monitor progress against targets.
Duties:
- Lead regional portfolio management and planning activities in line with Portfolio Definition and Delivery Cycles.
- Engage the regional CP R&D Management Team on productivity enhancement initiatives and effective portfolio execution and delivery.
- Drive adoption of new digital tools and processes within the Project and Portfolio Management team and stakeholders to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. This includes creating training materials and leading communication strategy and delivery with a heavy focus on change management.
- Conduct in-depth portfolio analysis including review of performance measurements risk analysis asset allocation and internal benchmarking. Communicate areas for improvement and optimization to the Project and Portfolio Management team
- Provide analytical support to the Project and Portfolio Management team and CP leadership
- Develop new analyses to provide recommendations and highlight variances for projects in the on-going portfolio. Tracking project progress along time cost and current state to better prioritize the portfolio.
- Provide portfolio delivery tracking transparency and visibility on timelines and reporting on KPIs. Track project and portfolio delivery via measuring and reporting on KPIs.
Qualifications :
- Minimum masters degree in agriculture biology chemistry statistics engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience in portfolio management.
- MBA Preferred
- Prior experience supporting change initiatives and track record of creating value via continuous improvement.
- Recommended certification in Portfolio Manager (MoP or equivalent) Project Management (PMP or equivalent) or Agile Product Owner (PSPO or equivalent).
- Clear communicator and capable presenter.
- Ability to inspire others to embrace change.
