Job Description
As a Housekeeper you play a vital role in creating a clean comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. Youll clean and inspect guest rooms halls and common areas in hotels ensuring every space meets our high standards of quality and hospitality.
As a Housekeeper you will:
- Consistently deliver high-quality timely cleaning for all assigned rooms keeping our standards top-notch.
- Strip units and remove all trash efficiently to prepare for thorough cleaning.
- Clean all areas including bathrooms kitchens living rooms closets and decks with attention to detail.
- Deep clean bathroomsbathtubs toilets sinks mirrors tiles counters and floorsusing proper tools.
- Strip and make beds change linens and carefully handle all soiled laundry.
- Report any damage or stains on carpets drapes furniture and linens promptly.
- Maintain a unit inspection score of 80% or higher meeting resort expectations.
- Use equipment and supplies correctly following all safety and operational procedures.
- Immediately report any Lost & Found items according to resort guidelines.
- Work collaboratively in a team and assist with additional duties as needed.
- Ensure each unit is fully stocked with all necessary inventory and houseware supplies.
- Wash walls ceilings and woodwork to keep units fresh and clean inside and out.
- Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays regularly.
- Help train new team members to maintain consistent quality and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and resort operations.
Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
- Good physical stamina; able to lift bend and stand for long periods
- Follows safety and sanitation guidelines
- Friendly professional and respectful with guests and team members
- Understands and respects guest privacy and property
- Must be able to regularly lift pull push and or/move up to 35 pounds.
- Able to communicate basic information clearly
