You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe UI Stead Family Department of Pediatrics division of hematology/oncology is seeking a Physician Assistant or ARNP. The selected APP will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team by providing medical and psychological services to children and young adults with cancer and their family members within the Division of Hematology-Oncology in the ambulatory and inpatient setting. Willingness to evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan is necessary to serve the whole accordance with scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law regulations institutional policies and practice agreements the position will independently conduct comprehensive medical psychosocial and developmental health history physical assessments establish medical and psychiatric diagnoses order and evaluates developmental behavioral and diagnostic studies and develop treatment plans. This position will be required to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

About Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology and Transplantation
The division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology and Transplantation is a pioneer in the care and treatment of childhood cancers and blood disorders. The team includes nine faculty members three advanced practice providers and numerous other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive disease-focused multidisciplinary care for patients.The mission of the division is to treat and cure children and adolescents with cancer and blood diseases who live in Iowa by delivering personalized multidisciplinary state-of-the-art care through participation both in nationally and locally designed protocols.We are seeking physician assistants and nurse practitioners who will be able to autonomouslyplan deliver and evaluate health care to patients on our unit under the direction and supervision of our faculty.
