Reporting to the Associate Director of Auxiliaries this position is responsible for supervising the Student Lounge and will provide project support for the supervisor. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Student Lounge and related spaces. This role involves supervising the area to ensure a welcoming and safe environment conducting online research performing data entry assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations and providing general administrative support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Student Lounge area
- Conduct desktop research on various topics
- Perform data entry into spreadsheets
- Create reports and slides
- Perform other related duties as required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Great customer service skills
- Experience using internet search tools and social media platforms to gather data
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in Google Suite (Docs Sheets Powerpoint) Google Mail Google Calendar
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be a full time student at SFBU
- Have a high school diploma
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Job duties typically performed in an office environment.
- Physical demands may include lifting up to 20 lbs bending and sitting.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit or stand for long periods.
This position will be 2 to 4 days a week for 2 to 4 hours a day and may require weekends and/or nights.
Salary Range: $18 - $20 an hour
