Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Health Safety & Security Leader to join our APAC team. As the most senior health safety and security authority in the region youll provide strategic direction and expert guidance across Australia New Zealand and Asia. This role will shape and deliver Egiss regional HSS (Health Safety & Security) strategy while ensuring alignment with our global standards and local regulatory environments.

Youll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders and a key partner to project teams championing a proactive safety culture advancing wellbeing initiatives and embedding HSS into everyday business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of the APAC HSS strategy aligned with Egis Group priorities.
  • Provide expert support to senior leadership embedding safety into strategic and operational planning.
  • Build and lead a regional network of HSS professionals and site-based champions.
  • Oversee compliance audit readiness and serious incident investigations.
  • Partner with HR to support wellbeing and psychological safety programs.
  • Represent Egis in industry forums and with regulators sharing knowledge and staying ahead of best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Extensive senior leadership experience in HSS across the APAC region.
  • Strong knowledge of safety legislation in Australia New Zealand and key Asian markets.
  • Proven experience in high-risk sectors such as engineering or infrastructure.
  • Skilled in risk assessment incident investigation and corrective action planning.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or related disciplines (e.g. NEBOSH CSP) are preferred.
  • Experience in matrixed organisations and culturally diverse teams is highly desirable.
