We are looking for an amazingSenior Manager Predictive Analytics

to fill this role which is based in our Doral office. The Senior Manager Predictive Analytics is responsible for leading advanced analytics initiatives across multiple onboard revenue categories to drive data-driven decision making and incremental value generation for Princess Cruises. This role involves developing and implementing predictive models machine learning algorithms and statistical analyses to optimize pricing strategies promotional campaigns and revenue forecasting across the onboard revenue portfolio. The Senior Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams including revenue management marketing operations and technology to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in predictive analytics strong leadership skills and experience in the cruise hospitality or retail industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and implementation of predictive models for demand forecasting pricing optimization and customer behavior analysis across all onboard revenue categories (Shorex Photo Retail Spa Art Weddings).
  • Build machine learning algorithms to identify revenue opportunities and optimize promotional strategies.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and A/B testing to validate model performance and business impact.
  • Partner with AVP and cross-functional teams to define analytics requirements for commercial strategies.
  • Develop analytical frameworks to support pricing decisions product innovation and promotional campaigns.
  • Create predictive insights to support pre-cruise onboard and bundle strategies across all channels.
  • Drive innovation in analytics methodologies and tools to enhance predictive capabilities. Implement advanced statistical techniques including customer segmentation propensity modeling and lifetime value analysis.
  • Develop and maintain automated reporting and dashboards for executive decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data scientists. Establish performance metrics and KPIs for analytics team success.
  • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to build analytical capabilities within the organization.
  • Collaborate with shipboard operations marketing and technology teams to implement analytics-driven solutions.
  • Present complex analytical findings to executive stakeholders in clear actionable formats.
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • This role demands exceptional analytical problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex multi-dimensional data challenges across diverse onboard revenue categories.

  • The role requires the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and drive organizational change through analytics innovation.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in data science Statistics Mathematics Economics Business Analytics or related quantitative field
  • Advanced expertise in statistical analysis machine learning and predictive modeling techniques
  • Strong programming skills in Python R SQL and statistical software packages
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau Power BI or similar)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate complex analytical concepts to executive audiences
  • Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with A/B testing experimental design and statistical inference.
  • Knowledge of database management and data warehousing concepts.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in predictive analytics data science or quantitative analysis roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing analytics teams.
  • Experience in revenue management pricing optimization or commercial analytics.
  • Proven track record of implementing analytics solutions that drive measurable business impact.
  • Experience in cruise hospitality retail or travel industry strongly preferred.
  • Experience with customer analytics segmentation and lifetime value modeling.
  • Background in revenue optimization and pricing strategies.
  • Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud)
  • This position is considered Hybrid and follows the Companys schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday Thursday)
