The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Dentist to join our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Hastings Nebraska where you will provide high-quality patient-centered dental care for all. Utilizing an integrated care approach our providers work collaboratively to address all aspects of patients health and believe that exceptional compassionate care should be accessible and affordable for all. Medical dental behavioral health and outreach services are coordinated to ensure well-rounded comprehensive care.

Your Role:
- Provide complete dental care to patients to include preventive care education and required dental treatment
- Record patient-dentist transactions as they occur in the patients dental record
- Educate patients in the general promotion of oral health related disease prevention
- Observe and provide guidance to dental students who are performing services at the health center
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve health outcomes
- Provide professional perspective and direction in development of the dental care plan and strategic plan for the health center
What We Are Looking For:
- Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry with an unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Nebraska
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices is preferred
- Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to medically under-served individuals
- Ability to foster strong patient-provider relationships
- Ability to effectively communicate both spoken and in writing
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred
