Principal Accountabilities:
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of all processing and material handling equipment for oil manufacturing
- Work in conjunction with other operators and supervisor to continuously monitor raw materials and final product quality
- Assist with the routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on production equipment as required
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 50lbs kneeling climbing crawling and twisting with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust loud noise etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime including weekends holidays or different shifts with advance notice
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and system
- Prior experience working in production related work
- High school diploma or equivalent
