Office Assistant: Part-Time
Job description
Were seeking a reliable and independent Office Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis working 3 days a week. The Office Assistant will perform clerical duties within the office ensuring continuity and prioritizing consumer needs.
Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
File and organize documents maintaining a tidy office environment
Close the office at the end of the day ensuring security and readiness for the next day
Perform light administrative tasks including data entry and record-keeping
Type memos correspondence agendas reports etc. as needed
Answer phones professionally and record calls on call logs
Make appointments and provide weekly meeting minutes
File incoming documents timely and efficiently maintaining HIPAA security
Notifies the Agency of emergencies sickness and other imminent occurrences that may affect the Consumer caseload as quickly as possible relative to the events occurrence.
Submits written time requests 2 weeks or more in advance of planned time off.
Perform other duties as reasonably assigned
Requirements:
Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Friendly and professional phone etiquette
Basic organizational skills with attention to detail
Computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software and programs
High school education or equivalent preferred
Minimum 6 months of office work experience
Criminal background check required
Schedule:
Part-time: 3-4 days per week
Flexible hours: approximately 3-4 hours per day
Functional Abilities:
Operate computer and office equipment with intermediate efficiency
Read 12-point or larger type
Comprehend and communicate in English
Primarily a desk job with minimal lifting and stooping required
