Role Summary:

The VP of Branches reports directly to the EVP of Member Fulfillment/Retail and directs the delivery of services to members through Assistant Vice Presidents and Branch Managers/Team Leaders. Responsible for achieving area division goals and key metrics for Branches and manages the implementation of organizational strategic plans and goals. Ensures the assigned Branches are in compliance with all regulations with taking primary responsibility for identifying and communicating deposit-related compliance requirements. Responsible for personnel development coaching mentoring and managing to budgeted staffing levels for all branches. Participate in the general management of the Branch network as a member of the Leadership Management Team.

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Provide strategic vision to the credit unions Branch Operations
  2. Ensure Branch culture promotes valuing members being the members trusted partner and doing the right thing.
  3. Provides leadership and oversight to the Branch network through subordinate managers to ensure organizational goals sales goals and objectives are met.
  4. With Executive Leadership Team lead the creation and implementation of the long-term branch strategy of the credit union.
  5. Reviews and discusses divisional Business Plans and ensures alignment with the organizational Strategic Plan
  6. Sets tracks and reviews annual production and performance goals and results for branches.
  7. Reviews approves and proactively manages budgets and budget variances for the branches.
  8. Motivates and leads a high performing leadership team provides coaching and mentoring as well as strategic guidance.
  9. Provides Executive Sponsorship to corporate projects and ensure those projects are completed on time and within the agreed upon scope and budget.
  10. Collaborates with other members of the Executive Leadership team to drive our organization to achieve its business goals and objectives.
  11. Instruct sales process sales policy and other sales skills as identified by the scope and regulatory guidelines within the organization through direct reports and support staff.
  12. Assist AVPs with Branch staff not achieving sales production goals; member experience metrics and with resolving staff human resources matters.
  13. Ensure integrity and ethics are maintained following guidelines established for the quarterly and annual incentive referrals.
  14. Monitor service quality levels and take action to improve where needed.
  15. Directs short-and-long-term planning and budget development and ensures alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.
  16. Participate in establishment of annual operational budget and monitor performance to budget throughout the year.
  17. Ensure Branches are in compliance with all regulations; responsible for compliance issues associated with branch operations.
  18. Maintain and protect all sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of security and confidentiality.
  19. Perform business development activities to help generate branch sales.
  20. Maintain general knowledge of other organizations within the credit union. Have a general knowledge of all service products offered by the credit union to accurately answer questions from members and staff.
  21. Must understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable to job responsibilities.
  22. Stay up to date on market trends and best practices and makes recommendations to the EVP of Member Fulfillment/Retail and/or Executive Leadership Team on new/enhanced programs.
  23. Attend credit union training sessions conferences and seminars as approved by the EVP of Member Fulfillment/Retail. Maintain awareness of policies and regulations related to duties and responsibilities.
  24. Monitor address and report on trends in division operations and deposit services. Develop recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to products pricing and processes.
  25. Maintain required risk and internal control standards.
  26. Display leadership values which include mutual respect trust and dignity acting in the best interest of the credit union lead by example by displaying solid ethics and integrity at all times.
  27. Control risk and manage operations in a safe and sound manner. Follow all compliance guidelines and participate in all compliance required trainings.
  28. Coach and hold accountable the AVPs to develop the management staff of each Branch and Member Contact Center to build bench strength throughout each Region.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in business Organizational Leadership or a related field
  • 5 years of managing Branch Operations including the management of multiple departments and/or multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations compliance standards and basic products and services
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution including financial service operations planning organization and development
  • Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of situations exercising flexibility and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to make practical and timely decisions and explain reasoning for decisions
  • Ability to analyze synthesize and communicate data in meaningful ways
  • Reliable transportation due to frequent travel to branches

Richland WA - $150935.36 - $251558.93

Spokane WA - $139490.03 - $232483.38

Lynnwood WA - $160950.03 - $268250.05
