Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Hourly Rate: $31$38 per hour ($64480$ 79040annual base salary)
Overtime is authorized: with approval from the Supervisor.
Per diem: $55 per day and lodging will be provided for authorized out-of-town travel and service.
On-Call Compensation: $150 for scheduled on-call duties. (One (1) weekend Friday-Sunday every four (4) weeks)
Paid Time Off: 48 hours (increases to 168 hours with tenure)
Paid Holidays: 7 per year (New Years Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving and Christmas)
401(k) Match: 5% employer match
Install and replace commercial HVAC systems including split systems packaged units and refrigeration systems with precision and attention to detail.
3&3 Tech Flex Program: Choose one of the following:

$3500 cash bonus
40 additional hours of floating holidays
$3500 in technical training
Note: For mid-plan year hires the cash bonus option is pro-rated; complete plan details provided after start date

Your Role as a HVAC Installer/Service Technician

As a HVAC Installer/Service Technician youll lead the installation and maintenance of commercial HVAC systems ensuring peak performance and client satisfaction. This dynamic role combines precision installation with service expertise offering variety and impact. Your responsibilities include:

Installation Duties:

Perform pipefitting brazing and soldering for seamless refrigerant piping connections.
Troubleshoot installation challenges to ensure system functionality.
Maintain accurate measurements and fittings for high-quality installations.
Collaborate with dispatchers coordinators and supervisors for seamless project execution.
Adhere to safety protocols industry standards and company guidelines.
Complete work orders and service reports accurately and promptly.
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
Service Duties:

Conduct routine maintenance repairs and equipment changeouts on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Service heating ventilation air conditioning systems and ice machines.
Perform preventative maintenance and recommend repairs to minimize downtime.
Respond to emergency service requests with professionalism and urgency.
Provide facility condition assessments and recommend enhancements.
Work independently with minimal supervision while delivering exceptional customer service.
Tools & Support Provided

Company service van for maximum efficiency.
Company-issued iPad and iPhone for streamlined communication and documentation.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided to ensure safety.
Technician Required Tools

Hand Tools Drills and Sawzall
Manometer and multimeter
Refrigerant gauges


Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications

Required:

25 years of proven experience in HVAC system installation and service.
EPA Certification.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass drug background and drivers license checks.
Preferred:

Completion of a relevant HVAC apprenticeship Journeymans license or technical training program.
Physical Requirements:

Climb and descend ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs.
Lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver in confined spaces (e.g. crawlspaces attics).
Willingness to wear required PPE.
Additional Requirements:

Flexibility to work overtime and travel across the state and neighboring states (with overnight stays) for training meetings or client-site visits.
Ability to meet enhanced security clearance requirements.
Skills & Abilities

Advanced proficiency in HVAC system installation and maintenance including electrical and mechanical components.
Expertise in pipefitting brazing and soldering for refrigerant piping.
Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve installation and service issues.
Exceptional attention to detail for precise measurements and fittings.
Excellent communication and customer service skills for client interactions.
Strong time management and adaptability to diverse HVAC systems and technologies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with industry software (e.g. Service Titan management tools) is a plus.
