About the role
Were looking for a Social-First Video Editor to help create engaging and attention-grabbing videos to spread the word about the UKs biggest AI video company - Synthesia!
Youll be part of the Content & Community team crafting a range of video content designed for reach resonance and virality. Think fast fun scroll-stopping edits for LinkedIn TikTok Instagram YouTube Shorts and beyond. Youll play a key role in shaping how Synthesia shows up on social - from product drops and launch teasers to everyday social media campaigns!
Must-have skills/experience:
- High-level video editing experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proven experience editing social-first content (organic social and/or paid ads).
- At least some basic motion design skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced highly iterative content environment.
- Experience of content ideation (you wont just cut footage youll bring ideas to help shape what gets made).
- An understanding of platform-specific best practices (e.g. TikTok vs LinkedIn vs YouTube Shorts) - knowing what will hook people in the first 3 seconds.
Some extra skills that would be awesome:
- Shooting and basic production skills (especially for UGC-style or lo-fi footage).
- Experience using GenAI tools (e.g: ChatGPT Image Google Veo3 Pika etc..).
- Design skills
- B2B experience
