Position Overview:
As a DevSecOps Engineer at Paladin Drones youll be instrumental in building and securing our cloud infrastructure data pipelines and IoT drone platforms. You will collaborate with our engineering data and product teams integrating security into every stage of the development lifecycle and ensuring our systems are scalable resilient and secure.

Responsibilities:

• Secure CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and maintain secure automated deployment pipelines for drone software cloud services and data engineering workflows.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform across AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Security Automation: Integrate automated security tests vulnerability scans and compliance checks into our DevOps workflows.
• Data Security: Ensure secure data engineering processes including data ingestion storage and processing workflows.
• Monitoring and Incident Response: Set up monitoring logging and alerting systems for early detection and rapid response to security incidents.
• Collaboration and Compliance: Partner closely with data engineering machine learning and robotics teams to proactively manage security risks and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2 NIST ISO 27001).
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for security policies infrastructure configurations and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 3 years of experience in DevOps DevSecOps or related fields
• Experience with AWS (EC2 ECS S3 IAM VPC Lambda) or similar cloud providers
• Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python Bash)
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions Jenkins or CircleCI
• Understanding of common security frameworks and tools (e.g. OWASP Snyk etc.)
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g. DataDog).
• Strong understanding of Linux-based environments
  

Preferred:

• Experience with drone systems edge devices or IoT
  
• Security certifications (e.g. CISSP CEH AWS Security Specialty)
  
• Experience working in regulated or high-compliance environments
  
• Knowledge of incident detection and response workflows
  
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as SOC2 NIST or ISO27001
