Position Overview:
To provide professional technical service and support for Agfa Radiology Solutions diagnostic imaging equipment (DR CR and HC systems) ensuring optimal performance and reliability of both Agfa and third-party products. The Field Service Engineer plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering timely high-quality service to hospitals and imaging centers.
Location:
- Western Poland preferred regions: lubuskie and wielkopolskie.
What Youll Do (Responsibilities):
- Install and configure Agfa and third-party diagnostic imaging products (DR CR and HC)
- Install and re-install software including all subcomponents and the operating system to ensure full system functionality
- Troubleshoot repair and replace Agfa and third-party systems both on-site and remotely
- Provide training to customers on the use and maintenance of installed systems
- Escalate unresolved issues to second- and third-level support as needed
- Support HQ and R&D teams in problem-solving and risk analysis activities
- Document service incidents and maintain accurate service records
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on imaging equipment and related software
- Identify opportunities for upselling Agfa products and services and relay these to the sales team as appropriate
Who You Are (Qualifications):
- Secondary or higher education preferably in Electrical Engineering Automation Mechatronics Medical Physics or a related technical field
- Proven ability to service mechanical and electrical devices including associated computer software. Experience in installing and maintaining medical devices with a strong preference for expertise in X-ray DR (Digital Radiography) and CR (Computed Radiography) systems
- Proactive flexible and able to work independently with a strong sense of initiative
- Capable of responding quickly to changing schedules and business needs; adaptable and open to new challenges
- Excellent attention to detail strong self-motivation and effective communication skills
- Willingness to travel daily for business purposes; valid category B driving license required
- Solid knowledge of X-ray CR and DR systems; good understanding of PC hardware Windows 7/10/11 operating systems and remote and recovery service tools
- Very good command of Polish (native speaker preferred) and good command of English (minimum B1 level)
