Role: Accounts and Audit Senior
Location: Leeds
Salary: 35000 - 50000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Join a dynamic proactive chartered accountancy practice that goes beyond traditional number-crunching! Our client is a well-established firm specialising in accountancy audit and taxation services offering Director-led business advice that focuses on the bigger picture for their diverse client base.
As part of the prestigious group this practice serves privately-owned businesses across Yorkshire and the North East from family enterprises to private equity-backed companies. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced practice accountant to progress all the way to Director level.
The Role:
- Manage your own diverse client portfolio with direct client relationship responsibility
- Prepare statutory accounts and tax computations for limited companies sole traders partnerships and LLPs
- Handle VAT returns (MTD compliant) and management accounts preparation
- Lead client meetings and manage the engagement process
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Act as first point of contact for clients across all communication channels
Essential Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified / part qualified (or QBE equivalent)
- Extensive UK practice experience with client portfolio management
- Strong technical accountancy knowledge and accounts preparation expertise
- Excellent client service ethos with proven relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Digita QuickBooks Xero Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and analytical skills
