Youll be part of a collaborative team providing proactive and reactive network management. From resolving incidents and performing root cause analysis to managing change requests and supporting compliance youll play a key role in keeping our customers environments running smoothly.
What youll do
- Manage and resolve network incidents and service calls to meet SLA targets
- Increase First Time Fix rates and reduce escalations
- Monitor call queues and follow up with specialist teams
- Support technical escalations and assist team members
- Ensure accurate documentation and incident records
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvements
- Use monitoring tools to track and resolve incidents
- Support compliance patching and vulnerability management
- Liaise with 3rd Line teams to drive service enhancements
- Deliver small project work to customer timelines
What youll need
Were looking for a team player with a passion for resolving technical problems and the ability to work independently. Youll need:
Essential:
- Experience in a 2nd Line Network Support role
- Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies (LAN/WAN)
- Relevant technical qualifications (e.g. CCNA/CCNP)
- Eligibility for SC Clearance
Desirable:
- Familiarity with firewalls load balancers and switches
- Experience with technologies such as:Cisco HP Fortinet Aruba Palo Alto Juniper Checkpoint NSX-T Cloud Networking Azure Cloud Networking
