You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs a Commis Chef you will support all areas of the kitchen as a true all-rounder. Youll gain hands-on experience working across banqueting in-room dining and a la carte service and will play a key role in delivering high-quality food that enhances our guest experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a broad skillset in a dynamic luxury hotel environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist with food preparation and service across multiple kitchen operations including banquets and in-room dining
Ensure food quality portion control and presentation meet our five-star standards
Maintain cleanliness organisation and hygiene in all kitchen areas
Work collaboratively with senior chefs to learn and grow within the team
Adhere to all food safety procedures and policies
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a similar role
Trade qualified - Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
A passion for food and a creative flair
Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Excellent communication and time management skills
Team-focused attitude with motivation energy and a desire to grow
Flexibility to work a range of shifts including weekends and public holidays
