The Role
Youll be responsible for managing procurement and inventory activities related to the Operational Assets in South Australia ensuring adherence to our procurement policies and procedures. Youll be responsible for ensuring essential purchasing and inventory tasks are executed efficiently and professionally to facilitate the safe and effective operation of our South Australian assets.
Youll oversee and track the onboarding of suppliers as well as procurement requests and orders. Assist site personnel with their procurement requirements by sourcing competitive quotes for products and services negotiating with suppliers when needed and generating purchase orders. You will also ensure that the delivery of products or services adheres to the contractual agreements regarding time/ quality /price and manage daily operations within the Procure to Receive process following purchasing operations policies and procedures.
Youll ensure precise inventory records coordinate yearly stock assessments examine any discrepancies and make necessary adjustments in the CMMS. Oversee and sustain procurement inventory within the CMMS create and execute ongoing reporting enhancements and work alongside external contractors to design and implement process modifications that meet business needs. Identify suggest and apply enhancements in inventory management for all SA Assets. Travel to various SA locations for brief periods to help manage local inventory which includes organising stock and performing inventory counts.
Manage the intake of goods into the storage areas help with unloading when needed and log items into the CMMS system. Keep the storage spaces organized while consistently proposing and applying enhancements. Furthermore suggest create and execute improvements for purchasing and inventory management processes. Aid in the purchasing receiving and inventory control processes ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company regulations. Facilitate outage planning preparation and execution by collaborating with contractors and meeting their needs.
