Pratt & Whitney Military Engines Engineering (MEE) is seeking a Program Chief Engineer for CCA (Collaborative Combat Aircraft) Programs. This on-site position will require activity primarily in East Hartford CT.
What You Will Do:
As Program Chief Engineer this role is responsible in providing strategic and technical direction to launch develop and mature for Military Engines strategic programs and products. This will include both technical vision and direction through the IPD process engagement with strategic and business development teams within the PMO and deep partnership with external customers and other DoD entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic technical and leadership for engineering team responsible for developing propulsion for strategic programs
Lead the Strategic Programs SIPT
Represent Engineering on Strategic Programs IPMT
Formulate and collaborate on product and technical strategy for key Military Engine programs
Collaborate with other Military Engines SIPTs/IPMTs via the EIC construct
Support customer and partner engagements
10-20% travel is anticipated
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering is required.
12 years of Engineering experience or 10 years with an advanced degree.
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

This role is:
Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 147000 USD - 295000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
