Job Description

Senior Analyst
ROLE
We need an experienced Senior Analyst to support the FBIs Insider Threat Office (InTO) at Redstone this role you will lead in-depth research and data analysis to identify trends patterns and anomalies associated with potential insider threats. You will support operational investigations develop actionable insights from disparate datasets and produce finished intelligence products including reports briefings and technical presentations. This role requires advanced knowledge of IT monitoring tools user access control and statistical methods. As a Senior Analyst you will also define analytical priorities oversee quality control mentor junior analysts and drive strategic projects that inform long-term threat mitigation efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct research and analyze data to identify trends indicators and patterns.
  • Perform data loss prevention (DLP) activities to monitor and protect sensitive information.
  • Respond to internal and external requests for information including those from FBI Headquarters field offices and other Government agencies.
  • Prepare detailed data-driven reports and analytical products including charts tables briefings and formal correspondence.
  • Analyze disparate data sources comparing and synthesizing information to produce comprehensive insights.
  • Support insider threat inquiries through data gathering analysis and reporting.
  • Process transmit and securely store sensitive and classified electronic information.
  • Maintain working knowledge of IT monitoring tools configuration management and user access control.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering presentations on findings and operational updates.
  • Research and extract information from designated automated databases; format and edit for government use.
  • Provide statistical analysis for data exploration and support case-related research and data requests.
  • Support the generation of investigative leads alerts and activity triggers based on data analysis.
  • Assist with the identification of inappropriate or unauthorized system activity associations or communications.
  • Provide support in reviewing and analyzing personnel security matters.
  • Identify emerging industry issues evolving threats and relevant trends to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and drive innovative projects that strategically and tactically assess threat-related data actors and behaviors.
  • Conduct quality control reviews to ensure accuracy consistency and completeness of analytical processes and products.
  • Define critical focus areas and lead comprehensive research efforts to support long-term analytical projects and intelligence objectives.
  • Support requirements management activities and help optimize data usage to enhance strategic program outcomes and decision-making capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of eight (8) or more years of handson experience performing administrative analytical and research functions in national security or operational security-related matters.
  • Must have proficient computer skills including the ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel) and Google Chrome

EDUCATON
  • Bachelors degree in related field (or equivalent experience)

LOCATION
  • Redstone Arsenal AL

CLEARANCE
  • Top Secret clearance with eligibility to receive Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • U.S. citizenship is required

CLIENT

WORK HOURS
  • 40 hours per week
  • 8 hours per day

Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of the time.
