Receptionist High & Rubish Insurance Agency
High & Rubish is a well-established independent insurance agency in Chapel Hill NC. We are looking for an outgoing and organized individual to join our team at the front desk on a part-time basis.
Primary Role:
Ensure that the agency is organized and running smoothly. Service client accounts and support agents in order to assist the agency in growth and maintaining profitability.
Duties:
- Open the front office at the beginning of each workday and close the office at the end of the day.
- Take incoming calls. Direct calls to relevant agent/department or assist the caller whenever possible. Confirm/update client contact information.
- Develop strong relationships with company personnel and clients. An outgoing personality is vital.
- Document all activity on the agency management system.
- Organize office activities and keep the agency calendar updated.
- Open and distribute incoming office mail and faxes.
- Maintain agency social media presence and marketing initiatives.
- Assist agents in communicating with customers via email phone calls etc.
Qualifications & Education:
- Property and Casualty insurance license preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required higher education is highly desirable.
- Required to be organized detail-oriented and willing to learn.
