Job Description
Food manufacturing company located in Buckner KY is looking for a PLC Maintenance Technician to join their growing team on 3rd shift. These are direct hire positions that offer a payrate $40/hr and benefits that start on day one of hire!
Job Description:
Essential Functions Duties and Responsibilities:
Upgrade all machine controls to current PLCs or PACs and machine safeties to CAT 3 level. Monitors and installs electrical equipment per NEC code. Provides electrical safety training to maintenance personnel to include arc flash qualified workers LOTO 3 point verification Provides technical training to maintenance department. Provided troubleshooting assistance to maintenance department. Work with internal and external resources on plant projects. Prepare and maintain all specific documentation related to job activities. Follows and enforces standards for food safety and food quality production reflected in SQF as well as the regulations of major vendors and governmental agencies such as OSHA FDA and EPA. Effectively communicate with coworkers and outside contractors. Be discreet in the use of company confidential information Perform other duties as required
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of five years experience with industrial plcs (Allen Bradly) electrical / electronic experience required. Associates degree in Electronics or Electromechanical Technologies preferred. Must adhere to all safety food safety and quality rules and procedures. Must be able to work overtime and other shifts as assigned.
