OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- The protection of Alstom employees sites assets projects in progress as well as sensitive information represents nowadays a necessity for our company development.
- Security encompasses all active and passive measures allowing Alstom to guard itself against and react to any kind of intentional malicious action both in material and immaterial fields.
- In this frame the Security Officer implements and oversees Alstom security policies and procedures in (Site).
- He/she will contribute to the performance and value creation of the Alstom Siteby protecting Alstom people assets sites projects and sensitive information and by implementing crisis management processes.
- He/she will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing security measures to ensure a secure environment for Alstom people assets and activities
- Implementing measures to ensure economic security and to protect Alstom sensitive information within his / her area of responsibility
- Implementingcrisis management processes.
Responsibilities
- Assess the threat and identify the security risks for the Site
- Ensuring implementation of policies and procedures for security of Assets/employees/Information/vendors/visitors.
- Supporting to Maintain good liaison with district administration authorities.
- Supporting the Security Manager & Country Security Manager to Report & compliances as per business needs.
- Maintaining discipline among the Security work force at site.
- Carrying out investigations in all security breaches
- Handling of Security Gadgets (CCTV Access Control System etc.)
- Implement the relevant processes and measures to ensure Security of travelers coming to site or leaving from site
- Implement the relevant measures to ensure Security of expatriate and local staff at site
- Ensures that Security personnel deployed on third party role are aware of their individual responsibilities as defined in Security plans and supporting procedures
- Create and maintain effective work relationship with security network within the site and location (local police security providers security managers from other local companies)
- Ensure compliance of any Security measure implemented within the Site with established security policies in Chief Security Office
- Draft and implement Standard Operating Procedures according to SiteSecurity Policy. Manage Security crisis and serious incidents at Sitelevel
- Organize the protection of Alstom main events in the Site (meetings events) implementing adequate measures beforehand to prevent any major incidents.
- Manage the Security vendor and the security personnel coordinators or contractors on sites.
- Follow the general political social and Security situation in (location) and in the region as far as security in the site is concerned in order to assist the Site Security Manager and Site Managing Director in their assessments of all security issues.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Degree in any Discipline
- Proficient in English Hindi Read Write and Speak
- Familiar with Microsoft excel PowerPoint and Common IT Tools

EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET
- Experience of working in Defence/Para-Military/Pvt Physical Security set up in a supervisory role (Min 03 Years Experience)
- Experience in drafting security plans/Security Processes/SOPs
- Ability to adapt to constant change to manage multiple tasks and to deal with complex stressful situations
- Excellent spoken and written and synthesizing skills in English & Hindi
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills (ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization and outside the organization).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to implement/review adequate security measures
- Experience in organizing and managing staff/teamwork.
- Confidentiality & Multicultural sensitivity
- Computer literate : MS Office
- Basic knowledge of Criminal Law
Organizational Reporting
Reports hierarchically to the Security Manager/Madhepura Eloco
