About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Power Apps Developer to help manage and improve a broad landscape of Power Platform solutions. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment understands the bigger picture and enjoys bringing efficiency structure and best practices to a fast-evolving ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize Canvas Apps using SharePoint as the primary data source (avoiding Dataverse due to licensing constraints).
Build and enhance Power Automate flows with a focus on efficiency minimizing connector calls working with JSON and leveraging Power Automate expressions (fx).
Design and deliver form-based data collection solutions with approval workflows using Adaptive Cards.
Analyze and reverse-engineer legacy applications with minimal backend documentation to improve existing functionality.
Participate in Power Platform governance including environment design app monitoring and enforcing best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to suggest improvements and challenge assumptions to deliver better solutions.
Integrate occasionally with RESTful or GraphQL APIs including authentication via basic auth or OAuth 2.0 (client credentials flow).
Support migration of model-driven apps to canvas apps.
Contribute to documentation ensuring systems are better documented and maintainable.
Required Experience & Skills:
3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform especially Power Apps (Canvas) and Power Automate.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint integration within Power Apps.
Proficiency in Power Automate expressions and flow optimization.
Experience with external API integration (REST GraphQL) and related authentication methods.
Ability to work independently and reverse-engineer undocumented systems.
Excellent communication skills with a consultative solution-focused approach.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
Strong understanding of governance best practices and scalable solutions.
Experience in environment management and monitoring within Power Platform (a plus).
Nice to Have:
Experience migrating model-driven apps to canvas apps.
Ability to create and maintain clear effective technical documentation.
Prior work in license-constrained or cost-conscious environments (e.g. workarounds for Premium Connectors).
Exposure to supply chain operations or similar dynamic business domains.
