Job Description
Job Title: Loans Officer
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Toms River NJ
About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Loans Officer to originate and manage loan transactions assess borrower eligibility and build long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate has experience in the mortgage or real estate industry a strong grasp of credit evaluation and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Originate and process loan applications in alignment with company policies
Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential borrowers through financial analysis
Maintain and nurture strong relationships with clients and referral sources
Guide clients through the lending process and provide ongoing support
Monitor loan performance and follow up on documentation and payments
Stay current with market trends and lending regulations
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance Business or a related field
25 years of experience in the mortgage or real estate financing industry
Strong knowledge of the real estate market and lending practices
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
