Job Description

Known for its powerful presence in complex high-stakes casesranging from mass torts and environmental disasters to consumer rights and insurance bad faiththis firm is seeking a driven Litigation Associate with 13 years of experience ideally from an insurance defense background who is ready to leap to plaintiff-side work.
In this full-timein-office role youll be expected to hit the ground running taking ownership of cases from intake through trial. Trial experience isnt required but courtroom readiness and initiative are. This position is ideal for a young litigator whos looking to gain early exposure to all facets of litigationclient contact depositions motion practice strategy sessions and trial prepall while working side-by-side with seasoned trial attorneys.
What Youll Do:
- Manage a docket of litigation matters from inception through trial
- Conduct client interviews and investigations
- Handle discovery depositions and motion practice
- Represent clients in court and participate in hearings and settlement negotiations
- Collaborate in strategy meetings and contribute to trial preparation
- Maintain detailed case documentation
What Theyre Looking For:
- 13 years of litigation experience (insurance defense preferred)
- Strong interest in transitioning to plaintiff-side contingency litigation
- California Bar admission in good standing
- Self-starter with courtroom poise and a passion for advocacy
- Willingness to work fully in the office and attend court regularly
