Position Overview
Were seeking aMotive Power Service Technicianto join our Grand Rapids team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys mechanical work solving problems and providing excellent service to industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install maintain and repair motive power battery systems and chargers at customer sites.
- Conduct diagnostics and performance checks on industrial battery equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain service work and recommend solutions.
- Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols.
- Travel locally to customer facilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with industrial batteries forklifts or electrical systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills for service documentation.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening background check and DOT medical exam.
