Job Description
Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort is an historic luxury resort located at the foothills of the Catalina Mountains in Tucson Arizona. Featuring scenic guest rooms exquisite dining options and rejuvenating Spa services delivered with exceptional service. Summary: Properly clean and maintain 10-15 rooms per day while meeting all housekeeping quality standards. Room attendants are to promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant honest friendly and should also be able to address guest request and problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Make beds and change out linens/towels
Vacuum carpets upholstered furniture and draperies
Empty wastebaskets clean ashtrays and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
Sweep and mop floors
Dust polish furniture and equipment
Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses linens writing supplies and bathroom items
Clean kitchen areas and dishes
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
Respond promptly to requests by guests and other department managers
Observe precautions to protect guests and hotel property
Report all theft damage and found property to the Supervisor or Manager on Duty
Assist in cleaning public areas when needed
Maintain the cleanliness of housekeeping closets and carts
Manage time to complete all assigned tasks by the end of the shift
Work as a team to ensure everything gets done daily
Organization and thoroughness
Preparing rooms in minimal length of time while respecting guest privacy
Check and flip or report mattress rotation needs
To follow all specified procedures as specified in the HDS Employee Handbook
Qualifications Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to lift carry push and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to bend stoop stand and reach overhead for prolonged periods.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to work independently and work cooperatively with the team
- Must be able to follow all safety rules
